Changes to Burke's Peerage
Burke's Peerage is set to include illegitimate children to its revered bible of blue blood breeding. Burke's already lists the children of the aristocracy, but the company says that the inclusion of illegitimate children in order to be more "inclusive".
While this sounds like a noble feat, we'll see how it plays out in the long term.
Also, the book will finally list children in their order of birth. This means that girls will have equal footing with their male counterparts.
